Quote;
“Everyone is going to binge on a diet, for instance, so
plan for it, schedule it, and contain the damage.”

public speaker. In 2007, he published The 4-Hour Workweek: Escape 9-5, Live
Anywhere, and Join the New Rich.)
BELIEVE ME. What you are about to read is one cruel fact of life every dieter has to face at one time or another. Moreover, this article is not sugar coated for you to read and then just forget about it. Speaking of candy, by itself it can stimulate more binging. Serious!
FURTHERMORE,
treatment of binge eating disorder is highly challenging. You ask ‘Why?’ It’s
just because most people feel ashamed of their disorder. And, surprising they
try to hide their problems. Often, they are so successful in hiding that even close family members and friends
don't know they binge at all. Get my drift?
TRUST ME, SUCH EATING
DISORDERS require
a comprehensive treatment plan that must be adjusted to meet the needs of each
patient. The goal of treatment for binge eating disorder is to help the person
gain control over his or her eating behavior. Treatment most often involves a
combination of the following strategies. Get the picture?
BUT, HOLD YOUR
HORSES,
do let me give you a quick glimpse of
what interesting things you are about to read! OK?
PREVIEW:
The
essence of this bulletin can be boiled down to just five important strategies.
Since it’s so vital please do read them slowly. And then read it again
carefully because it is highly critical to get a tight grip of how to ban the
bingeing for ‘life’. Don’t believe? Just
plough on!
Remember
to do the following. And don’t ask questions . Alright?
• Eat Complex Carbohydrates Only
• Apply Psychotherapy
• Medication Usage
• Nutrition Counseling
• Group and or Family Therapy
Having
said and done so far, let’s confidently move to the ‘meat’ of this short
report. Shall we?
KILLER STRATEGY TO BAN
THE BINGE NO.1.EAT COMPLEX CARBOHDRATES ONLY
The
harsh reality is that the excessive food craving comes from frustrated internal
carbohydrate organ receptors that are looking for a fix. The trick is how to
give in to it without triggering a binge. Personally, I find that mashed,
butter-flavored, starch, vegetables fill that emptiness fast Example mashed
turnips, sweet sour cabbage, and spaghetti squash parmesan. Personally, when I
diet I a have a turnip, spaghetti squash, or cabbage nearby. I alternate weeks
so I don't get tired of my snack. Easy as pie!
This
carbohydrate issue bring us nicely to the question of ‘psychotherapy’ to seriously consider on bingeing . Agree or
not?
KILLER STRATEGY TO BAN THE BINGE NO.2. PSYCHOTHERAPY:
This
is a type of individual counseling requires focusing on changing the thinking
(cognitive therapy) and behavior (behavioral therapy) of that person with an such
an eating disorder. Treatment includes practical techniques for developing
healthy attitudes toward food and weight. As well as approaches to changing the
way the person responds to difficult situations. As old as the hills! True or
not?
Hello?
Did you grasp what I just wrote on
‘PSYCHOTHERAPY’? If you do then it’s
‘good for you’. You should now be ready to give your undivided attention
on question of ‘Medication?’
KILLER STRATEGY TO BAN
THE BINGE NO.3. MEDICATION :
Trust
me, certain antidepressant medications, called selective serotonin reuptake
inhibitors (SSRIs such as Prozac and Paxil), might be used to help control
anxiety and depression associated with an eating disorder. The anti-seizure
drug Topamax may reduce binge eating episodes, but side effects can be serious.
Surprised? Wouldn’t that be something? It’s all coming up, so keep reading
Up
next! Let’s explore the next important killer strategy regarding ‘counseling’.
Alright?
KILLER STRATEGY TO
BAN THE BINGE NO.4. NUTRITION COUNSELING:
This
strategy is designed to help restore normal eating patterns, and to teach the
importance of nutrition and a balanced diet. For such counseling there must be an accepted understanding of the obese person’s characteristics at the start. The cruel
reality is that the person seeking help must adopt help-seeking attitudes and a good attachment
style. Without such honest interactions,
it does not work well. Unfortunately, sometimes
truth is stranger than fiction. Get my drift?
This
brings us to last but most important strategy which cannot be over emphasized. Here is it in a golden platter for you!
KILLER STRATEGY TO BAN
THE BINGE NO.5. GROUP AND/OR FAMILY THERAPY:
Family
support is very important to treatment success. It is important that family
members understand the eating disorder and recognize its signs and symptoms.
People with eating disorders might benefit from group therapy. Therein they can
find support and openly discuss their feelings and concerns with others who
share common experiences and problems.
Now that I’ve completely shaken your most fundamental beliefs in your quest to weight loss, then
allow me to make a few wrap-up
comments inside the last paragraph. Any
objections?
CONCLUSION:
Sincerely
said, there is no better way to end this
tiny report except to ask you to please heed my humble advice. That is, to
learn and really practice what you have read. But even before I sign off, I
want to thank you for reading this article up till now.
Oh!
By the way, you may ask! Would I still
do what I do it if you didn’t ? My answer is a big ‘YES’. Indeed, personally I would. Because it makes
me happy when the words and actions blend
nicely together to fit your lifestyle.
And when this regime is followed and do
exactly that it delights me. It’s still better if charted only with you. I repeat, the ‘YOU’, my constant reader! With
this, I
confidently bid you a better weight loss. Plus good health always be with you ultimately.
As
a final reminder to etched into your mind, allow me to restate the salient
points. Firstly, do consume complex
carbohydrates only. Then remember to apply psychotherapy wherever and whenever.
But don’t forget to use medication appropriately. And finally seek nutrition
counseling either as group or as a
family therapy.
