Just give me a few moment to acquaint you with a distilled version of the
proven remedies, if I may.
OVERVIEW:
As a prelude to this article allow
me to give you a boiled down, quick, and overall glance of this bulletin. It’s an ideal
curtain raiser, if I may say so myself.
Trust me, all wise dieters must
apply the following remedies with vigour and consistency. Get my drift?
Here’s goes!
·
Delay Remedy
·
Substitute Remedy
·
Chill Out Remedy
·
Give In—Slightly remedy
Having said and done for now, let
me give you a detailed and expanded version of these remedies for you to seriously ponder and apply. OK?
First thing first. Let’s roll it!
Shall we?
REMEDY NUMBER ONE: DELAY:
Food cravings can sometimes be a passing sensations. You can
choose to pay attention to them or you can ignore them. Sometimes, tuning out a
food craving for just a little while can actually make it go away. The craving
may have been triggered by other emotions such as frustration or momentary
anxiety. As those feelings subside, the urge to splurge will die down too.
FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO DO.
This will work very well if you tend to get food cravings
when you're bored. Come up with a handy list of equally entertaining
alternatives. And post your list near spots like your desk. Pick up a magazine,
file your nails, make your daily phone calls, log onto your favourite website
and make a to-do list for the week.
Next, by the same token we shall elaborate why the
remedy of ‘substitution’ can destroy
food craving without fail. Guaranteed!
REMEDY NUMBER TWO: SUBSTITUTE
Not all cravings are specific. Sometimes you may experience
a craving that just says "I want sweet" or "I want
crunchy". If that is the case, you may be able to get away with choosing a
lesser evil. Great craving killers included frozen yogurt, fat-free cheeses,
fat-free microwavable kettle corn, pretzels, turkey bacon, baked French fries
and peanut butter flavoured cereal. The idea is just to find something that satisfies
what you are looking for. It might be a taste you are craving but it could also
be a certain texture. You can eat a tasty substitute that's sure to nip your
craving in the bud.
Believe it or not, again in similar fashion, the next remedy
will work even better! Trust me.
REMEDY NUMBER THREE:CHILL
OUT
Since cravings are often triggered by stress, boredom and
anger, find other ways to calm down. Exercise has been shown to ease stress and
release endorphins. Do fifteen minutes of yoga, take a walk around the block or
pump out a single set of push-ups. Other ways to let out the stress are meditating,
journaling or even calling up a friend to vent.
The last remedy may not necessary be the least cure. Because
in similar fashion applying the remedy of ‘give in-slightly’ is just as effective
as using the previous ‘chill out’ tactic. Let’s pause here and seriously think
about this for a while! OK?
REMEDY NUMBER FOUR: GIVE
IN—SIGHTLY
If your craving is specific and extreme, the best thing may
be is to eat less of the thing you're craving. Have only some and give up the
guilt trip. If you start trying to make yourself feel guilty for an indulgence,
you may start feeling like a failure. Just have your treat, love it and keep
going.
So to sum up in a nutshell of all that have been said I highly recommend that you read closely
this summary as memorable reminder!
SUMMARY:
As a wrap-up of this article allow me to summarize this tiny exposés . To effectively curb cravings,
firstly a wise weight watcher you must always use the ‘delay’ remedy. Then he
or she must employ the ‘substitute’ cure. Also not forgetting to do the ‘Chill
Out’ therapy. Lastly always utilize
the ‘Give
In- slightly’ antidote. By the way, was it worth it? You bet your eye
balls it was.
Having said and done, the
next logical thing to do is to read this ‘critical’ conclusion, if I may
stress. Any problem? If ‘No’ then let’s confidently proceed! Why
wait?
CONCLUSION:
My only conclusion to this article is just this. Nothing more
and nothing less. Essentially what I have told you is the real deal: that to
change your weight, to achieve permanent weight loss, you have to be totally,
consciously in charge of yourself and everything you do, think, and feel. Plus you
have to use that control to create the healthy "you" that you deserve
to be and have. If you have worked through this article sincerely, you are now ready to live this new
life. Which includes experience the joy
that will gush forth from it. Need I say more? I guess not.
